“The apartment is ideally located, with shops and restaurants within easy reach. The promenade du Anglais is minutes away, as well as local transportation, with the tram stop 2 blocks away. A good security system separates the apartments from local residents. The apartment was bright and clean, with a comfortable bed, good shower and blackout curtains. Complementary croissants were hung on your door every morning which was a nice touch. The owner and receptionist were both welcoming and lovely to……

They were ample accommodations for our group for adults. The communication with the property agent was excellent and she bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant. “The apartment is nicely decorated, and the location in old town is excellent. They are very clear before booking about the five flights of stairs with no elevator access. The kitchen is well equipped with a stove, oven, kettle, nespresso, and French press. The balcony is not large enough to use the table and chairs provided, only enough room for standing, and the balcony doors are very difficult to open. The house rules of taking trash down the street were not given on the VRBO platform, only……

“I booked the home many weeks in advance with it saying on Expedia it was fully refundable up until a day before arriving. I tried to cancel the stay because our flight was cancelled and there was no refund. When I tried to contact the owner several times I received no response and was billed 100% of the rental rate. Not only will I not stay here again, I will not trust any of these “homes” to honor their refund policy.”

“This apt is more like a small suite with 2 small bedrooms. It was a bit hard to find as our GPS took us elsewhere but the link that the host sent worked well. The hearts on the cement columns were barely visible so we had to double check that we found the right place. The lockbox wasnt obvious despite the picture. It would be helpful to put lift up white cover on the photo posted. Please advise people that there are 10 flights of stairs..92 steps in total as it was very hard to get luggage……
