"Great cottage - well-equipped, comfortable, and right on the lake. Gary called us beforehand to answer any questions and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. Wonderful stargazing at night from the deck and birds, chipmunks, squirrels feeding right on the patio. As this is an authentic cottage experience, folks not based in Canada need to be aware that you have to bring bedsheets and towels (Gary is very clear and helpful on what you need to bring). Apart from that the cottage had everything we needed. A wonderful, peaceful getaway and a kind and welcoming host."

"Lisa was a wonderful host this week during my stay at the Lakeside Inn. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the area. My room was renovated and had all the essentials after a long day of work. I had a wonderful home cooked meal at the restaurant and really enjoyed seeing the friendly cats outside and great conversations on the patio! 5 stars for Lisa and her team, they make the motel a home away from home! "We found Stoco Lake Lodge very last minute. We were pleasantly surprised. The redort was clean quiet with excetional staff. Oaklys pub at the redort has good food and a great patio. The beach was awesome with nice sand. Will definitely return and recomend this resort. The price was great as well. "

"I stayed in the Wood Duck cottage and had an amazing time! Would definitely return. The sound of the rushing water was super peaceful, and the campground was well maintained. I most appreciated the AC/fan at night, the nearby walking trail and the fenced off leash dog park. I was thankful to have the cottage with the shaded deck as the Mallard cottage deck was fully in the sun the entire day. I also wish the VRBO description had indicated to bring my own sheets and towels. It might be important for others to know that you can see and hear your neighbours on either side, which might not be a relaxing experience for a reactive dog. Overall, a delightful stay! "
