“The room was filthy, tub toilet sink mirror were dirty. The caretaker Amos didnt come to the door when we called the number on the office door. The TV didnt work. I mean you get what you pay for i guess. It was infested with ants and spiders and smelled like mold. We stayed for 2 days because of weather conditions but when we got out to camp, our campsite was cleaner lol.”

“Totally wrong booking. We were searching and trying to make the booking of Jasper. How could it go through to this hotel? And there's no email address for us to contact...So sad experience.”

“Lean room”

“Not only is this a delightful heritage home, but the hosts, Rob and Liisa are wonderfully welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic. Lanark is a bit of a backwater, but Perth is nearby with an abundance of places to eat and shop. We highly recommend Clyde Hall!”

“Simple but clean rooms”

“Everything was great. Like every other hotel more lights in the room would be helpful.”

“Toilet and shower were heavily stained and not sure if sanitary. Bedding was worn and had some stains. One bath towel was thread bare. Mattress was comfortable. Room needs a deep clean, fresh bedding and towels to bring it up to a respectable level. A bit of a funky odor that needs to be rectified. Could easily be a good room with some care and a bit of money spent but will not get repeat customers or recommendations as is.”

“This motel is welcoming, convenient and clean, with comfortable beds. Parking and air conditioning are good, as is the tv. We enjoyed our 2-night stay and would recommend.”

“Nice hotel with comfortable beds. Friendly staff. We planned to hike nearby but hiking trails are very limited and the staff didn't seem to know much about it. They gave us a useless map (actually of ski slopes), though we found a map of hiking trails at a nearby lodge ...”

“Cabin was very clean . The furniture was old but in good condition. Kitchen only had one burner but plenty of pots/pans utensils etc. After busy day I would have appreciated somewhere to sit comfortably, the futon was okay. Beds were good and clean bedding. The road was very busy and a bit weary crossing with children. The dock was fine and we caught fish! Great location to Bon echo park. Stay was good for a couple of nights. Parking tight if you have a truck. ”

“Lovely hotel within walking distance to downtown. Beautiful pool and hot tub next to Spa. Friendly, helpful staff. Gorgeous, bright dining room looking out to park. Convenient to have buffet breakfast available for $. Suggestion to have labels for breakfast items..eg Decaf vs non-decaf coffees. Great stay!!”

“The property is terribly lit. There was no light outside of our little complex and no light in the stairwells. There was no place to hang your clothes and no bedside tables to lay your things on. Also, there was a coffee maker with coffee and tea, but no mugs, cups or glasses to drink from. Lots of dust under the bed”
