“This is a really lovely property very let down by sweet but woefully under-managed and poorly trained staff. Waited 10 minutes to check in and had to go and look for someone. Staff were all very young or trainees and no-one seemed to be directing them. No one seemed to be able to answer questions without going to ask someone else which took ages. The few tables outside were left uncleared. An odd thing to mention but my bathroom had a quarter of a roll of loo paper on the holder. Never seen that……

“Beautiful and quiet location, very helpful, check-in was smooth and quick. Excellent help finding a restaurant for dinner and we got 10% discount when we used our voucher from the hotel. Cute dogs and cats and donkeys in the garden next door. Breakfast was wonderful- croissants and homemade yoghurt.”
