“Charming B&B in a small village, run by a lovely Dutch host. The room was big and fortunately had aircon, which was vital during the heatwave. For a small extra charge (around €30), you can get a 3-course dinner cooked by the host, which was delicious, and served outside in the courtyard. Breakfast was also served in the courtyard and was plentiful to start the day. There is a village car park (free) next door to the B&B and had plenty of spaces.”

“I booked this hotel because they advertised free parking which is a big deal in Bourge. Turns out they only have a few spots available and they were all taken. I ended up having to pay 11 euros to park 1 km away. Not a great start. I woke up to find that everything I had placed on the desk in the room hot wet overnight. Turns out that air conditioner had been leaking condensation all night from above the desk. Just before I went to bed, the power in the room went out completely for about……
