Lookout Point Cabin-Long Range Mt View-PAVED ROADS-Hot tub-Fire Pit-Dog friendly

Lookout Point Cabin is located at the top of a tranquil mountain PAVED road. Privacy between you and the surrounding neighbors by natural barriers and woods. Solitude with isolated wooded views in the rear and spectacular far-range mountain views in the front.

Enjoy waking up with your coffee on the front porch as the sun rises over the mountain peaks. The common areas emphasize quality time, including a game room and family room. There is a hot tub you can soak in right off the back porch. Enjoy a relaxing evening down by the fire pit with your friends/family.

Need to get some work done while away? Free wifi with high-speed internet is included. All TVs are smart TVs with streaming apps already loaded. Antennae broadcast available.

Price is for entire cabin and property. Owners do not reside on premise.

Private driveway for parking. No access to garages.

House Layout:
Three bedrooms. Three bathrooms
First Floor: entryway, one bedroom, one bathroom, game/family room
Second Floor: master suite and bath, one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room. Access to back deck hot tub and front balcony.

Sleeping Arrangements:
THREE KING BEDS and an inflatable queen mattress (ideal for children) can sleep 8 guests. One of the king beds can separate into two twins if needed.


Dog Friendly. One kennel/cage provided. One set of dog bowls to use. Property description is for only 1 dog, <50 pounds. If >50lbs or more than one dog requested, please inquire to see if an exception can be made for your furry family member(s). $50 per stay pet fee. I'm sorry, NO cats as family allergic.


Only 6 miles (10 minutes) from door step to down-town Blue Ridge (ALL PAVED). No need for 4x4 or truck to navigate these roadways.

Only minutes from mainstream attractions including hiking/biking trails, gem mining, Mercier Orchards, tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding, wineries, fishing, blue ridge lake, etc. Let’s not forget a little drive to North Carolina and Tennessee.

Blue Ridge Beauty
We had an amazing stay @ Lookout Point. The views abound with so much beauty and as far as the eye can see you can’t help but stop and take it all in from all the vantage points this home offers. The host was prompt to make sure we arrived and were all set . The host responded promptly to any of our inquiries. The screened in porch is amazing to be able to enjoy indoor/outdoor living. We made amazing memories with our family.

We had a wonderful time in Blue Ridge.The cabin was more than we expected! Beautiful view from the sceened porch! We explored all the surrounding towns, came back and just sat on the porch.The cabin has everything you will need.The beds are super comfy too! Thankyou.

Wish we were able to stay longer!
We did a family roadtrip for spring break through several states, but wanted to stop and linger longer in the mountains, so we chose Lookout Point for our couple nights in the mountains. And we regret we weren't able to stay longer! The cabin is beautiful! My favorite space was the screened-in porch. It was perfect for an early morning quiet time with coffee! The game room is a nice addition - my teens enjoyed having that available to them. The location is great - close to town (Blue Ridge is adorable!) and also close to hiking. With a bit of a drive, you can get to Springer Mountain and hike some at the start of the Appalachian Trail. The roads to the cabin are paved and we had no issues getting to and from the cabin. Great parking at the cabin, and it's well lit at night. Sarah was a great host! She kept in touch with us leading up to our stay and offered some great suggestions for things to do in the area. We really enjoyed the hospitality! We don't tend to vacation in the same spot more than once, but this is on our list of areas to come back to and we'll definitely try to book Lookout Point again whenever we head back!

Fall Break
We really enjoyed our stay on my grandsons Fall Break at school. Our location was very close to Mercier's Apple Barn. We also enjoyed visiting the Amish store. View was breath taking and the weather was awesome; cool in the mornings with a lot of sunshine in the afternoons. The cabin was very comfortable, clean, spacious. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs and marshmellows around the fire pit. The only negative there is to this location was the neighbors (not sure if they live there or were renters) but their dogs barked almost all night the last night we were there.

The View is amazing!
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very well appointed home! It was probably one of the most equipped homes i've stayed in. We all felt like we were at home. The screned in porch was the big hit. I think we spend most of our time out there. The hot tub was a nice bonus after hiking each day, which there's plenty of hiking trails close by. We also visited downtown blue ridge which was easy and visit that some breweries. All in all, it was a great girl's get away. Sarah was very easy to communicate with and appreciated her thorough instructions and follow up. Would definitely rent here again.

Amazing mountains view
We really enjoyed the cabin very much. The view was amazing. It had everything we needed and the game room was a great way to relax and keep the kiddos entertained. The dogs next door were a minus as they seemed to be outside every moment we were and barked constantly. The bath towels and kitchen towels were very mildew / moldy smelling as soon as they got wet, they just wreaked. Overall, we had a great time, and the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. The house was a little dated in terms of decor. Good location in terms of proximity to downtown Blue Ridge. The grill did not work. I would be cautious of the late fee this owner charges. We had everything out of the house ready to go at 10:00 which is the check out time. My girlfriend did not feel Well but we would have left as soon as the cleaning crew arrived but they never did, at least not when we were still present at the home. The host said the late fee would apply if we delayed the housekeeper. Never arrived and still charged. The host just wanted an extra fee added. Hotels do not make you check out at 10, but apparently the owners think their house is a Ritz or Four Seasons. There are much better places to stay. We go tomBlue Ridge at least twice a year and probably the most mediocre place was this house.

Lookout Point - Stunning Views
If you're looking for a place with a view...this is it! Home is easy to access, close to Blue Ridge, and well equipped. The porches are fabulous and the game room provided added entertainment for the evenings. The owners communicate well and even stocked the kitchen with coffee pods to start the day. The only draw back was the neighbors' dogs. They bark a lot (more than the average pooch). Important to note that your morning coffee will be shared these 4-legged friendlies.

Breathtaking Views
Waking up to the breathtaking views of the mountains is exactly what we were looking for. This cabin is warm and inviting and very comfortable. Everything you need for a fun and peaceful stay is provided. Sarah was very easy to reach and responsive. We will definitely be back soon!

Last minute hurricane evacuation
We ended up in Blue Ridge unexpectedly to evacuate hurricane ian. We love Blue Ridge and have a vacation scheduled for next month! It's such a beautiful place to visit. The cabin was absolutely beautiful with such breath taking views. We spent so much time on the porch. The kitchen had all you could ever need. Our kids appreciated have their own king size beds and bathrooms! The master was amazing. Waking up to the mountains was absolutely a highlight for me! My only complaint or suggestion is that the cabin could really use a good dusting. All of the vents, fans, and blinds needed a deep dusting. Above the kitchen sink where the plates are also was super dusty. My family all have allergies to dust so we had to stop and pick up some allergy medicine. For being dog friendly there wasn't any dog hair to be found thankfully except on the porch. The shower in the master bathroom also could use some caulking. There is some mold in there and caulking that is peeling and chipping off. In no way would these issues prevent me from staying again but are moreso hopefully to be used as feedback for the cleaning company and owners. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home during such a stressful time for our family. Now back to reality here in Florida.

Excellent view, beautiful, and quiet. My only suggestion is for there to be a sign on the master shower indicating that the hot/cold water is reversed, because I had to take a cold shower. A sign is better than including it in the emailed info because there's way too much of that to read and remember. Other than that it was great.
