The hotel has gone way downhill since it changed hands. It is dirty, hard to get help at the front desk. We had to switch rooms because the first one had dead cockroaches in the bathroom. At one point during our 2 night stay, the housekeepers got in a huge screaming fight outside our room. The breakfast was sparse and the breakfast room was dirty. I’ve stayed at this hotel for years because it is close to my Dad’s condo. I will never stay here again. Room I was in was very nice. They were doing remodeling at the time of my stay, but I didn’t hear a thing. The front desk was very friendly. The secruity gates for some reason where not always closed for some reason. Anybody could have walked on the property. Maybe opened for construction crew. But over all I loved it there! The bathroom shower tile grout is moldy, falling out and insecure. Carpet felt very damp. Much of the motel is closed off for renovation. This part should be too. It is old and worn out. The courtyard outside the room is attractive & staff are pleasant. . Once the rooms are redone, we will try the motel again.
