The property is so beautifully decorated, has a great atmosphere and outstanding staff. We felt recharged after our stay there and highly recommend The Three Cocks
One of the nicest places I’ve stayed. Rooms were incredible, staff were lovely and food was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again!
Fantastic hotel, really atmospheric and cosy, we sat up late in the panelled lounge chatting, perfect venue for friends to catch up.
Breakfast was cooked to order and really delicious.
I have stayed at this location a couple of time the young lady at reception is friendly and nice. I will definitely stay and recommend this hotwl in the future.
We had an excellent stay at the Three Cocks Hotel. The hotel is very well furnished, exceptionally clean, super comfortable, and cosy.
Jessica and the team were very helpful and accommodating - the breakfast was lovely.
Location-wise it was perfect to get into Hay-on-Wye by car and taxi (but do book ahead of time).
The whole hotel is absolutely beautiful . The Rooms are stunning and spacious. The ladies on reception went above and beyond . Will definitely like to stay again when we are back in the area .
The loveliest, most accommodating hosts. We arrived early and were going to just drop our bags off due to needing to rush to a wedding, but they had our room ready so we could freshen up first, amazing service and so friendly
Lovely country b&b with full of character. Paying extra for breakfast was worthwhile where all dietary needs are catered for. Convenient pub across the road for an evening meal.
Very clean even with some remodeling being done. Great place to eat right across the street. Easy to find and get to other places. Friendly Staff, overall great experience.
Great trip to the 3 Cocks! Lovely room, very clean - with everything you need. Good welcome when we arrived. Breakfast was cooked to order and very good value. Ingredients were great quality. Everything cooked to perfection - poached eggs specifically! Would recommend and would stay again.
Lovely staff, warm welcome at arrival and breakfast, charming building. Noisy pipes from nearby room in the night

Very enjoyable stay.
It is a lovely place, quite quirky but that work is in is favour.
We had to self check in because the reception was closed but that wasn’t an issue as there were clear instructions including what we wanted for breakfast.
The restaurant was closed for refurbishment I think but the Old Barn is just across the road and serving good food for a reasonable price so no issues.
Breakfast was nice too. Overall I would recommend. I would imagine it will be fantastic in the summer when the bat and restaurant is open and you can sit in the garden.
Stayed one night at the Three Cocks. It's a charming property and immaculately clean. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The breakfast was perfectly sized and very tasty. My only gripe was the lack of water pressure in the shower, but it certainly wouldn't put me off booking again. I look forward to staying again next time I am in the area. Many thanks.
A great place to stay. Very quirky and you could tell that the place had a lot of history. Very clean and tidy and beautifully maintained. The only issue we had was the TV did not work well in the room we stayed in (4) as it kept losing the signal and buffering.
The B&B was a last minute booking to break a journey up. So glad we selected this property.
The house was very well presented. Rooms had everything you could need including plenty of space. We opted for breakfast and that was excellent value.
Despite the property being located next to a busy main road it was really well insulated for sound with very little to no disturbance.
The area had lots of routes and walks plus the pub opposite was really hospitable for an evening meal and drink.
