“Room was cleaned, but there was no staff or other guests at the hotel while we were staying. No bedsheets clean up, no changed towels, no collect trash the bin, no drinking water in the room. It’s more like Air bnb not like the hotel. The good thing was the parking lots in front of the hotel. ”

“Das Hotel beeindruckt besonders durch die vielen kleinen liebevollen Details. Ein wahrer Gegenentwurf zu Luxushotels von der Stange. In jeder Ecke und Niesche gibt es etwas zu erkunden und zu entdecken. Es wird einem daher auch nie langweilig, auch wenn man das Burggelände nie verlässt. Ein besonderer Höhepunkt ist der Burggarten. Man kann sich dort auch die Zeit u.a. mit einer Partie Schach oder Boccia vertreiben. Die Zimmer sind alle indiviluell und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Schon……

“Ich war am Eröffnungstag da. Ich wurde sehr freundlich begrüßt und insgesamt waren die Hotelbetreiber sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück kann man sich am Abend zuvor zusammenstellen und am nächsten Tag zu seiner gewünschten Uhrzeit zu sich nehmen. Das Hotel ist nicht weit vom Bahnhof und deshalb auch zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen.”

“Owner Paul is very accommodating and hands on. Our room for 4 was big. Wished that there were 2 bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent. The only negative was wifi is not strong at all. ”

“Unglaublich tolle Lage mit vielen Möglichkeiten für Aktivitäten im Rheingau. Die Qualität des Restaurants zum Abendessen war hervorragend, das Frühstück war gut, aber für das aufgerufene Preisniveau noch etwas steigerungsfähig bzgl. Verfügbarkeit einzelner Speisen & Getränke.”

“Reception experience not good which is why we marked lower. Asked for payment despite Expedia having been already paid so ended up being double charged for stay which I have had to refer to credit card company. Allocated incorrect rooms to our party and then accused us of being confused despite handing the room keys out. Shame as the other staff we met were really friendly and helpful - especially in the restaurant. Facilities and breakfast were excellent as was the location.”

“Good location in the centre of the city. Room design was well considered, but the amount of space given to bathroom was too generous at the expense of the bedroom. Also, there was insufficient space for hanging clothes.”
