“Fabulous house ,photos don't do it justice,suitable for all ages,vast array of amenities,pool and hot tub well used and enjoyed BBQ outside ,take a hairdryer with you tho as only thing I couldn't find .would highly recommend,seems expensive but not for you have , communication with booking site and hosts was excellent too , perfect location but be aware satnav takes you slightly off ,we missed the driveway twice lol ,we as a large party will definitely go back .”

“We rented a one bed flat at Vomero apartments in July 2025 and found it to be a gem of a period property with outstanding views from the balcony overlooking Torbay. The town is accessible. Louise and Sean were considerate hosts with fantastic quality of service. Highly recommend. ”

“Property was comfortable and clean. Stairs are rather steep so not for someone with problems walking.Location of house beautiful views around the bay. As high up with wonderful views it keeps you fit to walk back from the harbour and shops only 10-15 minutes BBQ and fire pit available, ”

“Stayed here for 4 nights. The house was well equipped and very clean. Communication with host was great. A lovely gesture by the host leaving a bottle of prosecco and box of fudge. Very close to the beachfront, which was great as parents are almost 90 years old. Didn't realise the caravan park was directly in front which was our main view, small view of the sea could be seen from balcony. Lovely coastal walks without taking the car.One downside of the area was the road in and out , it was so……

“Facilities were well organised and everything was as described. Bed was comfortable. Only downside wife me was that the carpet needs a clean, it is getting sticky under foot. Otherwise all good.”

“I had no wifi as there isnt in Foxes Den at first i was disconcerted then enjoyed reading and sitting outside instead of infront of the TV. It was just what I needed”

“Our stay at St Matthias Lodge was the first time we have taken our youngest granddaughter Daisy on holiday and it turned out to be a perfect 3 day break.Many thanks to hosts Claire & Tim who went out of their way to make it special for Daisy, there were child themed quilt covers, teddies beside the bed and toys for Daisy to play with. The lodge was clean, fully equipped with everything the 3 of us needed, clean towels, fresh bedding and the beds were comfortable. Fresh milk in the fridge, coffee……

“The apartment was absolutely stunning. Beautifully furnished & so much natural light from the huge windows. The sea view was beautiful & looking out over Drake island & Plymouth sound was amazing. Parking was available right outside at £10 a night but we could go out in the car & know we had parking when we got back. The Barbican is walking distance or a quick uber ride away & there are plenty of restaurants & bars. We unfortunately didn’t receive an email re the checking in process which was……

“Beautifull position, veiws outstanding, well equipted, very cosy, and clean, In a brilliant postion for walking and relaxing, also just a quick hop across the ferry to vibrant Dartmouth with many shops and restraunts. Carparking is a couple of minutes walk away, perfect. The property has a lovery patio where to relax and blow your mind as the sun sets. Two pubs in Kingswear, a wine bar, village shop, post office, and cafe. The hosts are very friendly and helpful also. Sooooo relaxing 10/10. Have……
