"It’s always a pleasure to stay at The Cook Hotel. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the property itself is what any University would want as a representative hotel. A couple watch-outs: The lowest priced rooms are tiny and have a single tiny window in the back corner of the room - that’s it. If you like light, confirm the room layout before booking, I found that the next class up is generally just a few more dollars and worth the difference. The beds can be a little saggy- especially on the side that seems to be where most guests like to sleep. Other sides of the bed(s) are fine. The pillows are flat and the door to the mini fridge cabinet fell off its hinges when I opened it. But, all that said, it’s still my preferred hotel in Baton Rouge. "
