“Very quiet property. Occasionally could here some of the campers in the park. About 3/4 of the way down the lane in the evening there is a little grass area where the deer would come out to graze. Depending on the time you came back to the cabin you could see a few. One evening there was probably close to 20 out there. If you are a nature lover it is an awesome site to see. The host was very responsive to anything i messaged her for. Had a few issues with the internet and it probably could have……

“We stayed here for a girlfriends 3 night weekend get away. We really enjoyed Vern's cabin !!The cabin had everything we needed. It is very peaceful and serene there. We really enjoyed the patio for coffee in the morning, the fire pit at night, and watching the river. We saw & heard lots of birds, eagles & Blue Herons....Bunnies and a big turtle too. The cabin is not fancy but it is perfect for a get away. Redwing is right there and we had a lot of fun shopping, eating out, and checking out……

“My two young sons and I had a very nice visit to The Boathouse. The lake is well used but not busy and the water is calm. We spent our time on the kayaks, fishing from the dock, and on land with a fire to warm up the cool summer evenings. The Boathouse is well-kept, comfortable, and charming and the hosts are delightful and generous. The drive into the twin cities is very easy. I would definitely recommend. ”
