"Honestly I can't fault anything in this resort, my family and I stayed 9 nights and can't wait to come back. the service and staff are simply excellent. They are courteous, professional, and pleasant. The cleaning of the whole site is impeccable, an army of cleaners make sure that all is in order, in very short time. The pools are lovely and well layed out, the site is stunning and the beach has perfect sand. Be sure to give Antonio a nudge for watersports, he's an absolute legend"

"Good room and food. I would have appreciated a courtesy tray/kettle but charges for coffee and ice cream at beach bar were reasonable. I appreciated the beach lifeguard presence for my sea swim. Windy in early may."

Lovely hotel but needs improving

"Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Positives were that the hotel overall is lovely with lots of space, bedrooms are very big with large beds. Good choice of food and the reception staff were great. Nice pool and little beach. Negatives, the 3 female pool bar staff were very rude on multiple occasions, the pool floor needs updating and the tiling throughout is uneven and dangerous. There is nothing around the hotel. It would benefit from a gift shop on site "

"Our room 6 in the residence building was spacious. The bathroom was nice, plenty of towels, great water pressure in the shower, but ran out of hot water when showering easily. Ants in the clothing cabinet and also on the floor near it and near the foot of the bed. Kitchen functional, but the only frying pan was old scratched Teflon. Stove and pan not suitable for cooking steaks. Bed not very comfortable. Hot tub near the pool did not work. Appearance of hotel is that it needs updating. Staff friendly/helpful. I sent a message to the hotel through Expedia asking if they could send my husband's swim trunks to us (forgot them in the bathroom). We would gladly pay postage. No response from the hotel. Disappointed in that."

Villa Calu' - Wonderful villa in Sardinia with swimming pool and sea view

Overall a pleasant stay

"The next door neighbour showed us around the property. We did not see the manager throughout the stay. The views of the mountains and sea were outstanding and could not have been better. The pool was clean and exactly what we could have hoped for. The villa itself was very "tired". It just needed not one, but quite a few licks of paint. But it was clean and the facilities were adequate. The showers were very old fashioned and tiny. But the location of the property was perfect. We found many excellent restaurants nearby and Foxi Manna Beach was as good as I have ever been to. Overall a positive review but the property itself needs to be modernised and updated."

"The resort property is very beautiful. The restaurants are well managed and the food was very good, considering we were there during August vacation and there were no vacancies. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds and rooms could use some upgrades for comfort, but they were clean and sufficient. Would definitely recommend this resort. "
