When is the best time to go to Capri?

The best time to go to Capri is during the shoulder seasons of spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May), when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are smaller. During these months, you'll experience comfortable temperatures, superb for exploring the island's natural beauty and charming towns without the intense heat or large crowds of peak summer. You'll find it easier to book accommodations and secure reservations at popular restaurants. This is an ideal time for couples looking for a romantic escape, as well as solo travelers seeking a tranquil yet engaging experience. For those who enjoy a lively option and don't mind warmer weather, the peak summer months (December to February) offer vibrant energy and are ideal for beach activities and boat trips around the island. Families often find this a good time to visit, as the beaches are fully operational and there are many water-based activities available.

If free cancellation is available, you can cancel directly through your Expedia account by logging in, going to "My Trips", and selecting your reservation. ONOMO Hotel Cape Town - Inn on the Square

8/10 Good

"The breakfast was great and staff were very friendly and accommodating"

The Commodore Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The Commodore is a very nice hotel, very close (just a few minutes walk) from the attractions, shops and restaurants of the V&A Waterfront. It is well maintained, exceptionally clean, has great furnishings and tasteful modern decor. The restaurant and food are very good and the staff very polite, friendly, helpful and accommodating. It is not far from the City Centre and is an excellent base from which to explore Table Mountain and the rest of the scenic Cape Peninsula. It has a distinct upmarket ambiance. I have stayed here twice in the last 5 years. Highly recommended!"

The Onyx Apartment Hotel by NEWMARK

10/10 Excellent

"I and my family had a great experience at this hotel. Madalyne helped us with our airport transfer and answered all our questions even before we arrived. All of the front desk and restaurant staff were amazing. Our 2 room suite was awesome and the terrace on the 4th floor is a great place to relax in the evenings!"
