There's heaps to do in Asoke, but head farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Arrange a set of wheels and you can meander around the surrounding area at your own pace. Add these awesome destinations to your travel plan:

• Pattaya is roughly 60 miles from Asoke. Renowned tourist attractions like Buddha Mountain deserve to be at the top of your list here.
• Your next pit stop? It has to be Hua Hin, which is around 90 miles away. Hua Hin Railway Station is one local highlight you really shouldn't miss.
• Spend time in the outdoors and inhale the fresh air at Klong Plu Waterfall. It's 170 miles from Asoke.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Thailand, then you may need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car.
