Car Rental Eluan

When you've checked out all of the well-known sights in Eluan, there's more to see in the surrounding region. Pick up the keys to a rental car, pack your bags in the trunk and get out there. We've come up with some drives we know you'll enjoy:

• You'll find Lotus Pond and many other interesting sights in Kaohsiung. From Eluan, it's about 60 miles away.
• Next stop? Consider Tainan, which is around 90 miles away. Chihkan Tower is one local highlight you shouldn't miss.
• Get into the outdoors and inhale the fresh air at Taroko National Park. You'll find it around 170 miles from Eluan.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Taiwan, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be allowed to rent a car. You should also be aware that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be at least 25 in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the rules and regulations before you drive away. With rental cars, you usually can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or on off-road areas with a rental car.
