Car Rental Hakatachō

Once you've ticked off the interesting sights in Hakatachō, there's heaps more to see in the surrounding region. Grab the keys to a rental car, stow your luggage in the trunk and get out on the open road. Here are some road trips we think you'll enjoy:

• Kyoto is approximately 40 miles from Hakatachō. Well-known attractions like Kiyomizu Temple should be high on your list here.
• Why not enjoy the best of Nagoya too? Notable tourist attractions in this vibrant city include Nagoya Castle. Nagoya is about 95 miles from Hakatachō.
• Make tracks to Minami Alps National Park for a day out in nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just sit and unwind. From Hakatachō, it's around 180 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Japan, then it's likely you'll need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be able to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some other requirements to rent a car internationally are:
