Car Rental Jinshan

Once you've covered all the well-known sights in Jinshan, there's loads more to see in the surrounding region. Collect the keys to a rental car, toss your luggage in the trunk and get going. We've come up with some road trips you're sure to love:

• Head off to Hsinchu for a fun-filled sightseeing experience. Roughly 50 miles from Jinshan, it has many great attractions, including Hsinchu City God Temple.
• Your next stop? Consider Taichung, which is around 85 miles away. Taichung Park is one local hot spot you won't want to miss.
• Make your way to Yushan National Park to reconnect with nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just relax and unwind. From Jinshan, it's around 130 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Taiwan, then you may need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll have to show your current license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You must be at least 25 in most places to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the fine print before you drive off the lot. With rental cars, you usually can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental vehicle.
