• Bandung is 75 miles from Old Jakarta. Well-known attractions like Braga City Walk should be at the top of your list while you're in town.
• Roughly 35 miles away, Bogor is also popular with travelers. Set aside time to experience Bogor Botanical Garden while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love coming to this thriving city.
• Venture into the great outdoors and breathe in some fresh air at Pangandaran Public Beach. You'll find it roughly 170 miles from Old Jakarta.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Indonesia, then you might need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be allowed to rent a car. You should also note that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well.
