There's lots on offer in Taling Chan, but venture farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can cruise around the greater area at your own pace. Add these awesome destinations to your travel plan:

• You'll find Buddha Mountain and lots more interesting attractions in Pattaya. From Taling Chan, it's approximately 65 miles away.
• Next stop? Make it Hua Hin, which is around 90 miles away. Hua Hin Railway Station is one local draw card you really shouldn't miss.
• Get out into the outdoors and inhale the fresh air at Klong Plu Waterfall. You'll find it roughly 170 miles from Taling Chan.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Thailand, then you may need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be allowed to rent a car. Please also consider that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well.
