“Property was in a great location for the area. However, it was not well kept (neither was it recently renovated), it was untidy when we arrived (including damp towels on the radiators) and not as clean as we would have expected. The bathroom was very dark (black tiles) and contained no soap other than a half used cake (all the liquid soap dispensers were empty). Sheets were well worn and, we suspect, had been poorly washed and aired before we arrived - as a result, we went out and purchased new……

“The staff were less than helpful, There was no car parking anywhere near the hotel. It was student accommodation and not suitable for mature aged travellers. We chose not to stay here and found another motel.”

“What a beautiful home with some incredible views of Cobh that was just minutes from the highways and downtown. Staying here gave us the feel of living in Cobh and was the perfect spot to explore the area and make some day trips around Cork. The spacious layout allowed us to relax in comfort, with two bathrooms and a full kitchen and living room to unwind. We highly recommend!”

“The location was good and the property manager communicated well, and that was all of the "good" I could find. Moldy smell, wifi didn't work. Curtains falling off, and the worst was no sheets, just a mattress cover and there was a hair on the pillow. Needless to say I left. I did not stay. If you have any mobility issues at all, not good. The stairs to the loft bed steep. There is a sign stating to back down. Would not recommend”

“This is a small flat on the top floor of a terrace house. Yes you can see the river just past the plumbers merchant yard and the industrial estate on the opposite bank. Access is via a very noisy shared stair case. First impressions on entering is a place which needs some upgrading and lacks furnishing - COSY it is not. The place was clean although old paint work and an excess of silicon on the shower tray gave the place a generally shabby feel. Then we opened the oven to find the grill pan had……
