"This was a great hotel with a nice staff and amazing view. The only thing I wish was different was the size of the room. A bit too small. But overall we were happy there. "

"The service was excellent. The room was cozy and clean. All around delicious breakfast. If we are ever in that area we will definitely come back. Traveling with two kids- very kids-friendly. "

"The place was clean and quiet. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was decent. Would have been nice if there were a few protein options. Parking was pretty easy, it is down the street and around the corner so a little walking is required but overall the experience was nice and I would definitely stay here again."

Outstanding view of the lake in the mountains. Probably 1000 feet up with the lake below. 2 hot tubes and a pool that makes it look like you're going to the list right off the edge. The staff wanted to please any way they could.

The view from the window was breath taking. It was 4 of us and we had enough space to move around the room. There was no TV in the room but this did not bother us as we were constantly away doing something. Breakfast was very simple but nice we did not had to care in the morning to find anything, just one suggestion, maybe cucumber and tomatoes would be a nice addition. The surrounding is incredible and very relaxing. Highly recommend.

Warm and friendly welcome to a perfectly clean room with all amenities needed. Room with high ceilings and light and warmly furnished. What a nice experience for my dog and me.
Breakfast Croissant was Devine. Definitely will go back to this place next time I am in the region.

"My recent stay at the Hotel Ulivi in Paratico was absolutely phenomenal. If you are looking to explore Lake Iseo and the heart of the Franciacorta wine region, this is the perfect home base.
The first thing that strikes you is the incredible hospitality. The staff are exceptionally warm and helpful, going out of their way to provide local tips . My room was spotless, modern, and spacious

We spent five nights here and loved every minute of it. Peaceful location close to Lake Iseo. Rooms are large, beds comfortable and serviced daily. Breakfast is varied and delicious. Restaurant is great for dinner. Staff helpful in every way. Overall a great spot for a family vacation.

Chef and his daughters were remarkably pleasant. Paola is a saint. Chef’s wife really bailed us out with currency exchange.
The restaurant deserves a Michelin star.
It’s off the beaten path but if you want true Italian this is it.
It’s our second trip and expect we’ll return.

Stayed here for two nights. Stayed in room 301 which is a larger room on the top floor. If we come back to this area, i would request room 302, as it is further away from the outdoor ac unit. The room and hotel were very clean and the view from the balcony is amazing (albeit that you have to stand up to appreciate the view, rather than sit down). The weather was very hot while we were staying here and the room does not have ac, however we left the balcony doors open and there was a nice breeze,...

This is a quiet, lovely sanctuary slightly removed from a busy world. If you wish to spend some time in quiet contemplation while also enjoying comfortable amenities and close proximity to fine dining it is hard to beat.

This place was absolutely amazing. The hotel itself was spotless. Super clean everywhere. The staff was incredibly helpful to us. They assisted us with information about the city and transportation to multiple places we visited. Irinia, is absolutely incredible. She never hesitated in helping us and always went the extra mile in order to make herself available to us. We sure recommend this hotel to everyone, and we will come back someday. Thank you for everything guys….we will miss you!!!! Ciao...

The best area to stay in Carzano is directly in the village center, particularly along the lakefront and its immediate surroundings.
This area offers immediate access to Lake Iseo and the ferry terminal, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the lake and the nearby island of Monte Isola. The village itself is small and easily walkable, with a few local shops and eateries. Staying here means you're right at the heart of Carzano's relaxed daily life.
Couples looking for a tranquil and scenic getaway will find this area ideal. The proximity to the lake allows for romantic strolls along the shore, and many accommodations offer beautiful lake views. It's a superb base for enjoying the natural beauty and quiet pace of a lakeside Italian village.
For travelers seeking a peaceful retreat, the areas slightly set back from the main lakefront road, but still within the village, provide a very quiet experience.
When is the best time to go to Carzano?
The best time to visit Carzano is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to early October) to enjoy pleasant weather and fewer crowds.
During these shoulder seasons, the temperatures are comfortable for exploring the town and surrounding areas, typically ranging from the mid-60s to high-70s Fahrenheit (18-26 Celsius). You'll find that many local businesses are fully operational, and you can experience the natural beauty of Lake Iseo and the mountains without the peak summer rush. This allows for a more relaxed and authentic experience, whether you're enjoying a lakeside stroll or dining al fresco.
For those planning outdoor activities like hiking or cycling, these months offer ideal conditions. The trails are generally clear, and the natural scenery is at its most appealing, with lush greenery in spring and vibrant foliage in autumn.
