“This is a lovely hotel with really friendly staff who made us very welcome during our stay. It is an older building, which has its pros and cons - quirky and full of character, though the bathroom area in our room was on the small side. The location is lovely, very close to the waterfront with good views, but the town and its amenities are on the other side of quite a long bridge. Would recommend overall.”

“The only thing we can complain about is that we couldn’t stay forever with Cathy! The place is much better than expected (really, much better). Super well equipped, comfortable, clean, and with marvelous decoration. The area where the house is located is absolutely stunning. And of course, we must mention Cathy again, she is incredibly nice, kind, intelligent, talkative, and made our one-night stay feel like being with family. “Great hotel. Plenty of facilities. Well maintained. We stayed here with two kids who loved the place. Nice swimming pool (just be aware that they require swimming hats, so bring or buy one). Breakfast was fine. Scones in the bar were excellent.”
