Amazing Stay

The beautiful pictures and description of this place does not do it justice. When pulling up to the house, the view of the house was an exciting introduction. Then as you make your way up the path, turn to look across the sound, you realize either way you look you have arrived at the perfect place. Can’t say enough good things about the house inside and out. Made our trip up to the Cape one to remember for a lifetime. Deb was also a pleasure to communicate with, helping with any questions and also making some great recommendations for fun and dining.

Unique place in Hyannis

We loved our stay at this very unique property. The private beach access was a plus and property was well equipped with bikes, paddle boards, and canoes for use. Kitchen was well stocked and property was very clean. Thank you for the great stay!

We had an amazing stay and the windmill house. The house was beautiful and as described.

Our experience at the windmill was great, the house had everything you could need and more. It is such a relaxing place in the perfect location. Deb was very accommodating and a wonderful host. We look forward to staying here again.

Wonderfully unique home

We came up for a quick surprise trip for family and this home was perfect for our stay. Well equipped and very comfortable for us all. The bath and steam shower were bonuses due to the fact we came up in December! We would visit this home again and the owner/host was very accommodating to what we needed. Easily a 5 star property

We had the most amazing time at this beautiful property! The views were absolutely breathtaking and even better than the pictures. The house itself was incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Great spot on Cape Cod’s south shore

This was our 3rd stay at the Windmill house. It is in a quiet neighborhood but super close water access for kayaking, fishing, exploring for crabs and other marine life. The parents enjoyed it almost as much as our 3 yr old granddaughter. Proximity to Hyannis makes for easy entertainment and dining options. Enjoy the view from all parts of the house, including the big deck. We love the spot!

The best house with the best view!!!!!!!!!

Outstanding!!!!! The house is amazing. It’s very well equipped from bikes to condiments. The breathtaking views are the highlight. A true get away. We stayed there for my daughters wedding and the pic’s from the house were spectacular. The host Deb couldn’t be more accommodating and easy to reach. I would HIGHLY recommend the Windmill house!

Beautiful Views!

This home was so cute, clean, well maintained and unique. We had a relaxing weekend cooking in the well equipped kitchen and enjoying views from every window as well as the cozy fireplace. We were fortunate to have enough sun to sit on the deck in January and were happy the furniture was still out. I got almost instant responses on the VRBO app for a few questions. Great house!

Unique home in amazing location

My parents, brother and his family, and I stayed here for a few days. We were immediately blown away by the views, which were front and center from every room. Lots of cozy chairs and couches and two large decks. I loved that there were two living rooms, which allowed us to spread out. The kitchen was nicely updated and included just about everything you could need. We didn't even mind staying in for a day because of the rain because it was so beautiful and homey there.

Graduation celebration

We came to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The house was only exceeded by the setting. It felt truly like a home - equipped for everything you could ever want. So many choices for eating, reading and relaxing the day away. Deb was immediately responsive to any questions I had. Hoping to be back one day to this treasure !

Beach Dream

This home is spectacular! Deb, the owner, is very responsive and has really thought of everything that you could need for this home. We came with our twin girls, who loved going across the way to the inlet to catch crabs and paddle board for their first time. The views from this home are incredible! Just being able to sit outside and look at the view is enough. The town of Hyannis is about a 7 min drive and offers so many good restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay tremendously! Perfect Cape Vacation

This was our second stay at the windmill house and it did not disappoint. The house’s location is ideal and probably the best in the neighborhood in terms of views. Access to the beach is perfect for a wide range of activities and perfect for kids as the water is shallow and calm. A rare find on the cape in terms of water access. The house is stocked with something for everyone (games, water activity) and our 3 yr old was occupied and had so much fun during our 1 week stay. Deb is a great host and communication was prompt and clear. Highly recommend

Peaceful family holiday gathering spot

We stayed over Thanksgiving week, wanting to avoid crowds but staying close enough to drive to sites on the Cape. The house is even better than the photos; short walk to park with beach was beautiful with fall colors, birds, and sunsets. We traveled with 2 young adults, 3 teens, and 2 parents; enough sofas to have own quiet time/snuggle, heaters worked well, 3 bathrooms/showers were good to have, top bedroom slightly creaky when wind blew windmill arms. Kitchen well-stocked to cook most meals including Thanksgiving turkey and ham. Neighbors pretty friendly. Owner was very organized, responsive from reserving 2months in advance to our last day; truly great experience among the houses we have rented. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Perfect in every way

What a cool, postcard property with a stunning water view from every room! Great communication from owner. The house was incredibly well-stocked with everything you would need for a Cape beach vacation. We were there for my son's wedding so no cooking or entertaining for me...but every piece of kitchen equipment was there. Lots of beach toys, bikes, coolers, oh my! I can't think of anything that was lacking. Easy check in and check out, A/C worked great! Clearly this is a very thoughtful and experienced VRBO owner.
