Riverside Home comfortable & cozy

Belmont is a small suburban city in Gaston County, North Carolina, United States, located about 15 miles west of uptown Charlotte and 9 miles east of Gastonia. The population was 10,076 at the 2010 census. Once known as Garibaldi Station, the name change for Belmont is disputed. Some say it was named after a prominent New York banker - August Belmont.

Cozy house in quiet, safe neighborhood

A friend and I travelled to Belmont to attend my daughter’s wedding. I was very anxious, as we were 2 60’s years + women, traveling alone. There are no pictures of the house on the VBro listing. I found a cute remodeled 2 bedroom, 2 bath home on a one way street in quiet neighborhood. Belmont is a quaint town. This house had all of the amenities to make the house comfortable. I had difficulties getting into the house, but when I reached the host, he corrected this immediately, via remote. I couldn’t access the WiFI, but was so busy enjoying the area & family, I didn’t need it. I would stay at this place again.

It was adequate for sleeping arrangements, but other than that not overly impressed. Owner was unaware that the property was reserved so the door code we were emailed was useless and had to help him find our reservation. The house was in general clean, but lived i .

Review

We were able to check in a little bit early, which was very accommodating. Not quite enough hot water for four people to have showers and a short time frame we could never get the Wi-Fi to work. The location was very good for the purposes of our visit to Belmont. The owner/property manager was very prompt with responses each time we reached out. The neighbors that we spoke with over the course of the weekend were all very nice.
