Fantastic views

Sanderling is in a great position with wonderful views. We enjoyed walking to the village and along the beaches. The salt water cafe and the courtyard cafe are both dog friendly and serve great food.Relaxing in the hot tub on a clear night watching the stars was an amazing experience. We'll definitely return to Beadnell, it's a beautiful place and very welcoming.

Great time at the Sanderling

Had a great weekend staying at the Sanderling , great weather, fantastic location with plenty of places to eat nearby. Enjoyed the hot tub and the view was lovely. Good parking and easy access and all information was clear and easy to follow from the website or app.

Had a lovely stay here location was great lovely walk into beadnall called at Craster Arms great pub dog friendly. Shepherd hut was gorgeous lovely and cosy with the log burner on and everything you needed great place to unwind!

Fabulous

I had a gift voucher as a birthday present and spent a couple of nights in the Sanderling it was great . Small and compact with everything you could need. Only a short walk to Beadnell, which offered choices of places to eat and a gorgeous beach. Then back for a glass of fizz in the hot tub - just lovely.

Fantastic stay!

We had the loveliest time in the Sanderling hut. The views were fantastic and we had some great views of the stars too. The complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a lovely little touch, which we enjoyed one night in the hot tub whilst watching the sunset. The location was perfect as plenty of places nearby to eat, drink and walk.Very dog friendly too. We would definitely stay again!

Relaxing Twixmas Break

Our 4th year at Shepherds Retreats and once again it provided the relaxation and respite we were hoping for. Sanderling is toasty warm even in gales in December and has everything you need for a short break. The wood fired hot tub is perfect for star gazing, a lovely way to spend the evening.

Weekend escape

Shepherds retreat doesn’t disappoint. A gorgeous shepherds hut, with everything you need to escape from it all. Cosy and quaint, with log fire inside and wood fire hot tub outside. Everything you need

Our 2 night stay at the Sanderling was wonderful. It was super cosy and we especially enjoyed the hot tub. It was a real activity keeping the fire alight and waiting for the water to heat. We also did plenty of walking in the local area. A beautiful place to end our 2 week tour of Scotland and North England.
