Staff was excellent and made sure we were well taken care off. For a small town like Chester, this place was such a great find!
This is probably the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Very impressed. Very comfortable beds and quiet. Had a wonderful dinner at Timbre House and a great breakfast at Cravings. I would definite stay here again!
The room was great, and the owner was so helpful, knowledgeable, and hospitable! This place is the perfect gateway if you’re trying to explore Mt. Lassen National Park!
Antlers is a small, older establishment, and fits perfectly into the decor of the city of Chester. The staff greeted us and Tanner was extremely helpful with fishing assistance, which was a hit with my grandson. Grandma here, really enjoyed the quality coffee bar with upscaled Peet's Coffee products, and sets of real utensils, for that night that you are just too tired to go out and have something delivered from a local eatery. The price was right for the reasons we were visiting. I was very happy woth my choice.
The room was immaculate in every way, the beds were comfortable and everything we could need was provided, except breakfast. A coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator with freezer made it possible to make a light breakfast easily. The location is great, near Lassen Volcanic National Park! Almanor Lake is nearby where you can have dinner and drinks outside and enjoy the view! I highly recommend Antlers!
Room was clean, but the noise from second floor feels like the people are literally in your room. The other concern, that your room number is pre-made before your arrival. From this point the host needs to do better planning how to accommodate. If there are people staying 2-3 nights and come earlier - make sense to put them on a second floor, so the one’s, who stay overnight and come at 2am will not bother with continuous nose while they unpacking stuff in the middle of the night.
Overall place is okay, but forget about night rest here.
