Like construction started and stopped last year. Walked into room 104 it smelled like old smoke and mold. The white bedspread had yellow on the edge of bottom. Looked like a dog lifed its leg. Day 2 no hot water. The carpet was nasty. There was a hole in the wall by the door that was about 6”X3” that had yellow caulking holding it together. I went to the store and bought scented candles and Lysol spray….Yes it was that bad I was there because of a loss in my Family. I wasn’t willing to fight with someone to get a different room. Honestly I doubt that there was a better room. I have never seen a Hotel room like that. Room was clean and adequate. King bed was very comfortable, and hotel was very quiet. Linens were sparse, no extra bath towels, hand towels or wash cloths. TV remote didn't work, so I took it to the front desk for new batteries. Clerk suspected the problem was just me, so he tried to use it for a short time before just handing me a different remote. That remote didn't work much better than the first one.
