“The bush room was very comfortable and I'm sorry we weren't able to see it in the daylight as I think the views from the little outside balcony would have been brilliant. (arrived late and off before dawn for the Anzac service). A little care to be taken going down the steps to use the bathroom in the main house, (as I said it was dark) but otherwise all good and suited our needs. Thankyou to Grant for picking us up at the station as the train was very delayed.”

“An old established pub hotel with all the charm as well as impeccably maintained, managed, updated, renovated, and modernised facilities. Wonderfully welcoming, helpful staff, great food and atmosphere, sports screens, social events, everything you'd expect from both a traditional and contemporary pub hotel. On the main strip of the Maitland city centre, close to shops, banks, groceries, restaurants, even a reasonable walking distance to Maitland train station. Upstairs accommodation……

“Room was stunning, clean and definitely worth the pricing. We were able to check in abit earlier and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. My only suggestion is around paying for a balcony. Our room had a balcony which we paid extra for as I was expecting a view of the town however it was just the balcony view of the building next door which would not be worth paying extra depending on which room you’re provided. Overall great service and would definitely stay again!”
