Wonderful staff upon check in. Clean and tidy room. Very convenient so close to the Sydney airport. I highly recommend this hotel for travel option. Definitely looking forward to the next stay. Restaurant was next foor and cooked amazing meals. Krispy Kremes next door also which was an exciting treat

We had a false fire alarm at 2 pm . I know the price is the lowest but the entrance is hidden, the tiles in the shower and the shower door frame looks cheap.

An easy walk to the Domestic terminal, where there's a free transfer bus to International. Amenities: • Luggage rack & four hangers • Microwave down in the lobby! • Kettle w/ tea & instant coffee in room • WiFi requires no code (free to anyone in range) Minor "budgety" complaints -- [#210 -- view was highway & a giant bright billboard, but blinds were decent] • Thermostat set at 32° on arrival; smelled, but better once I lowered it for AC. • Fridge would not cool at all, didn't even cool overnight. • Only outlets are not within reach of the bed (to charge phone…) • Nowhere to put toiletries in washroom: pedestal sink & sloped tray under mirror (items slide off) • Comfy bed, but had to remake bottom sheet, as it did not cover the mattress at the top • Toilet ran randomly (gurgles) but okay with bathroom door shut to sleep • TV took a while to “load” channels. USB input did not read my external hard drive but a USB key worked.

This is a basic hotel but beds are comfortable and rooms are functional. Nice to still have tea and coffee provided. Plenty of fast food options nearby. Just what was needed for a few hours sleep between flights.

Ibis Budget Hotel make it comfortable and convenient for us to stay in Sydney. The location is wise, near to the airport and food stores. Transportation wont be a problem too.
