“We enjoyed our stay very much. Someone else left a comment that the bed was too firm. Maybe the mattress has been changed, because for us it was just right. There was only one negative, and largely because we are both over 65... I think we might avoid a loft bedroom next time. We old folks were a bit challenged by the stairs... but the effort was worth it for such a peaceful stay.”

“We scheduled this vacation to take advantage of the no car Wednesday in Cades Cove. We rented our EBikes at Scotty Bikes nearby and practiced on the bike trail in Townsend. Rode to lunch, dinner, and ice cream. Very convenient to the parkway and enjoyed rafting at the River Rat to cool off during the heatwave. Cottage was easily accessible, cozy, comfortable and private. ”

“The Hideout Cabin is a charming and cozy cabin. The cabin has a sweet front porch where we sipped our morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The hot tub was perfect after long days of hiking. The location is perfect, with Townsend attractions and Smoky Mountain access.The property is spectacular, with stables and fantastic views. Jeff is a wonderful and attentive host, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the walks and visiting the horses right on the property. We used……

“Just as described and pictured. Owners were awesome! Loved that it was off the beaten path (16 miles of windy roads from closest store etc). Plenty of adventures available for the motorcycle and Land Cruiser. Loved the creek flowing behind the house. Beautiful! ”

“The cabin was in a great location that was easy to find and had plenty of parking space available. The cabin was absolutely beautiful with great Amish workmanship and was very clean. We have stayed in many cabins over the past 18 years, and this cabin was by far one of the best ones we have stayed in. It was the perfect size for our family and was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The owner was very responsive and quickly resolved our slight issue with the internet……
