“My partner and I were celebrating an anniversary with a visit to Yosemite National Park. The cottage was a quiet, comfortable and peaceful place to stay during our visit. It was within 27 miles to the El Portal entrance to the park, making it very convenient. Also just 3 miles from the town of Mariposa which provided access to grocery store, restaurants etc.”

“I went with my family to Yosemite, and stay here. We loved this place, everything was so organize and clean. A quiet and lovey place. We really enjoy our staying here. I didn’t read that is pet friendly, because my allergies activated. but no complains. i recommend this place, the owner was so helpful, answering my messages. 100 recommended”

“From the moment we walked into the rental, we were blown away by the welcoming details that Shannon and Steve left for us! They had a warm fire going for us when we arrived as well as relaxing music. What a touch!! In addition, they went above and behind by leaving Easter eggs and treats for the kids (we were there in Easter day). No other host had ever been this thoughful! Thank you Shannon and Steve! “Enjoyed stay, very close drive to the Giant Sequoia Trees and many trails to hike. Enjoyed the Anna hummingbirds coming up to the glass window in the kitchen in the morning for breakfast and at night for dinner. Also, incredible weather and beautiful stars to glaze up to over the Sierra rim.”

“The cabin is definitely really cozy. Sadly, there were a few issues like the AC unit, but Eric quickly dealt with that which I deeply appreciated. I loved the location. If you want privacy, this is the place to be. I slept well every evening. And the cleaning lady, Toni, was great. I had forgotten my toiletry bag and she went out of her way to make sure I got it back.”

“The location was nice and quiet. The deer next to the pond in the morning was a special bonus. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept really well, which is saying a lot considering my bed at home is a sleep number :-D.”

They had toys available for my toddler, and two tv rooms, which was god sent for my teenagers. Everything was clean, and it just made us all feel like home. “The giant windows in the living room are dramatic and luxurious. Beds were comfortable. Carpets and living room furniture are starting to show their age but not bad. Kitchen is adequate but some of the pots and pans are also well used. Shower drains were just a little slow in two of the three. Overall a fantastic place.”

“This cabin is wonderful. It had all of the necessities and a few touches that made it homey and comfortable. Right next door is the owners market and grill. It has great food and everyone treats you kindly. I love that this cabin is pet friendly (the owner, Peter, has a heart for animals himself). I look forward to staying here again.”

“Clean, convenient location, cozy. Easy to get to with 4x4 in snow. Convenient parking. Large kitchen and living space. Will definitely rent this cabin again. There is no clothes washer, but there is a dry. Clothes washer not needed, but shown in the listing and wasn't there when we stayed.”

“We just got home from a 2 night stay at this wonderful cabin. Our hosts were very nice and welcoming. The cabin is located in a beautiful area just outside of (but not too close) to Oakhurst. As I am getting up there in years and have a few health concerns, it comforted me to know we were just minutes away from help. And there is an emergency Vet in Oakhurst as well! We will definitely be coming back!”
