I was not aware that the property did not provide towels and wash cloths. (I didn’t read the whole description. Lesson learned). When I called about it they directed me to a stash of towels in another building. He didn’t have to do that! Great customer service!

If ur traveling n just need a grt n unique place to hang out n have a beautiful view of mississippi river ...this would be it. .stayed in the rental rv for overnite stay n enjoyed a fire ...uhm not the mosquitos...but the fire n the quietness was just what we wanted wth our travels ...thank you

Uniquely different property. Appears to be a Nice set up for hunters/fishermen. A little deceiving listing as it is not on the water. You can see the River and a short walk across the road to the dock but not on the River. It is in a residential area.

Eastward bound

Just a one night on a long road trip. The email I was sent with a ton of information was great but as we were on the road 4 days prior to receiving the email the info was a tad late. Bring your towels and wash clothes as they are not provided. We did not know to pack those things but got lucky and the Dollar Store had towels on sale so all was good. We ate just down the road and it was quite good as was the ice cold beer and friendly service. Camper trailer worked out just fine for the one night.

A small warning

Everything about this place was beautiful. Friendly staff, accommodating, gorgeous cabins and location. Only problem: after being there for a few hours, my partner had found a couple bed bugs in the bed in the main bedroom. Not a big deal since we both lived nearby and just ended up coming home but definitely put a damper on our weekend trip.

Peaceful, clean and friendly

We stayed in the Bear cabin which was very clean upon arrival and welcoming. The patio has a table and chairs outside which was very helpful as we forgot our camping chairs! Every interaction with the owners was very friendly and helpful. Grills look nice but could use a little TLC. Making sure they have a full tank and that they are working. Between two nearby we couldn't get them going. They had extra propane tanks but by the time we realized we were too hungry and cooked inside instead. One was empty, the other wouldn't stay lit. We saw chickens roaming nearby. Watched the sunset on the dock. A very peaceful place!

Cabins are very close to each other with little privacy. We were also surprised to find bed linens but no towels. Nice to have a screen porch but the view was of the neighbors garbage and discarded appliances. Good dock access to River. Clean and comfortable for the price. Great pizza at the River Ratz bar.

The location next to the water was wonderful. We were able to see the sunset and take some great photos. The temperature had dropped but the cabin was warm and toasty.
