Un lugar perfecto para una familia o grupo de amigos para relajarse juntos. Ruru está construido con buen gusto en maderas nativas cosechadas de forma sostenible y macrocarpa. Está cómodamente escondido en la confluencia de un arroyo al pie del Parque Nacional Kahurangi y por las noches disfruta de una rica canción de "coro al amanecer" y "morepork" (búho nativo). Un gran fuego de leña lo calienta en las noches más frías y un baño de arbustos en la orilla del arroyo lo espera después de su caminata de un día, senderismo a caballo o al terminar la Pista Heaphy. La playa local está a solo 300 metros por la carretera y nuestra caminata por el bosque nativo de 1 hora comienza en su puerta. Atraviesa arroyos profundos, pasa por árboles masivos y es el anfitrión de muchas epífitas y otras especies de plantas nativas. Emerge a una impresionante vista panorámica sobre Golden Bay desde las tierras agrícolas despejadas de nuestro vecino. The house is private and quiet and surrounded by bush and the bubble of a small stream. It is a rustic cottage with comfy beds and all the kitchen items you'll need. It had everything we needed, including a bit of internet (enough to check a few work emails and stay in touch with family). We really enjoyed the lofts and the view of the stars at night.
