Situated just 1 mile outside of the centre of Trawden, you can take a stroll from the cottage to the local country pub to enjoy some food. Nearby Wycoller (3 miles) boasts the ruins of Wycoller Hall where Charlotte Bronte set parts of her famous novel and is well worth a visit. The popular market town of Skipton, known as the gateway to The Dales, is within a half an hour’s drive where you can browse the cobbled streets and medieval castle or venture further up into the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park.
As you step into this delightful property you are greeted by an entrance hall, the perfect place to leave coats and muddy boots after a day of exploring. A flight of stairs then leads up to the open-plan living space where high-end furnishings and contemporary decor await. Comfortable sofas adorn the lounge area, ideal for relaxing whilst watching a movie on the Smart TV. The kitchen area is stylish and equipped with everything you could need including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. Take a seat at the breakfast bar and enjoy a coffee made with the SMEG coffee machine whilst you plan your day ahead. Move through to the bedroom area where a king-size bed is sure to provide an excellent night’s sleep. Patio doors open out to a balcony and flood the room with light, whilst a free-standing bath at the foot of the bed allows for ultimate relaxation. Completing this wonderful property is a shower room with a shower and WC. At the front of the cottage is a small patio area with furniture and a charcoal BBQ.
To the rear is an enclosed balcony with breath-taking views over the surrounding countryside, where you can enjoy a drink in the evening in complete privacy. There is private parking for two cars and secure storage for bikes.
