For an older motel it was clean. The office chairs needed to be replaced it had the fake leather coming off of it. There were 3 of us with rooms and all the chairs we the same way. The cleaning lady was very helpful when I had a request and was super nice. Breakfast they furnished was fair so we ate breakfast out. Coffee got several complaints from people we visited with. It was nice to have picnic tables out front so you could sit and visit.

Enjoyed the stay, this was a birthday weekend trip. The only issue we had is that the ice machine was not working. We were there a little bit before the season started. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay, the room, the staff and location.

Great location and view of the river. The staff were also friendly. However, the beds were hard, and the bed comforter/blanket was thin and rough. There was also a musty smell in the room, due to the building's age. The window did not open, so that didn't help with the smell or air flow. There is a desk and chair in the room, but the height of the battered chair was so low, that you couldn't use it to sit at the table (it couldn't be adjusted, either). Plenty of parking and the location to the promenade and shops were excellent.
