This home was by far the cleanest and most well stocked of any property. We don’t normally stay this far outside of Boone/Blowing Rock but booked this stay due to a wedding in Jefferson. The home was private, had everything we needed, exceptionally clean, soft and had plentiful towels. The host was very responsive. The owner of this home is very responsive! His dad lives nearby and quickly responded to any need. This roomy house was perfect for our family. It has a very well equipped kitchen!! The queen beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the back deck, creek, bridge, and wildlife. We will definitely rent this place again! We discovered that we were close to Gem Valley LLC. It was the first time our son and grandson had been gem mining. The owner and gemologist made the experience a wonderful experience! Our favorite places to visit in West Jefferson include the Honey Hole and the Ashe County Cheese store. Sweet Louise’s cafe was a great find for breakfast or lunch.
