Every corner, every little detail speaks of romantic places and days lived with joy and serenity. Soft lines of color lead to the bedroom, an intimate and delicate nest where the light blue tones meet the sweetness of white. Furthermore, there is a large terrace over the roofs in the heart of Como! Sip a glass of wine at sunset and savor the fresh air and the sweet sound of the church bells. ADDITIONAL INFO The apartment can host 2 guests. There is a bedroom with a double bed, a kitchen, a bathroom, free wifi. Windows in the modern kitchen overlook the city. EXTRAS In this property, pets are allowed upon request and at an additional cost to ensure allergy-free cleaning. Baby beds are available at an extra cost. Extra cleaning and linen are available at an additional cost. Transportation can be provided, please contact us! ACCESSIBILITY This apartment is not suitable for people with mobility issues and could also be inconvenient for those who travel with small children. There are lots of stairs to take to reach the apartment. No elevator in the building. In return, however, you can enjoy the view! PARKING There is no private parking, but street parking is available. In nearby Viale Lecco or Viale Varese, you can park your car only within the blue stripes. Pay time is from 8 am to 8 pm. Pay at the machine and get the ticket, or use the \\"EasyPark\\" app. There are also paid parking garages in the city: “VALDUCE” in Viale Lecco, “JASCA” in Piazza Volta, “CENTRO LAGO” with an entrance in Via Recchi, and “TRIBUNALE” in Via Auguadri. NEIGHBORHOOD \\"Como Unique View\\" is just a few steps from the lake and in the ancient heart of the center of Como. There are many bars and restaurants nearby. GETTING AROUND Proximity to Como San Giovanni station will be comfortable for guests arriving by train. From Como San Giovanni station, there are regular trains departing to Milano Centrale and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno). From Como Nord Lago station, it is possible to travel to Milano Cadorna. In the city of Como and nearby towns, ASF Autolinee buses are in operation. Tickets can be obtained from the driver (cash only) or in designated places (the main bus station in Piazza Matteotti, bars, and tobacco stores). Taxis are also available. However, the historical center, the main sightseeing objects and the lake are a walking distance away from the property. From the pier in central Como, a local ferry service will take you to Cernobbio, Torno, Bellagio, Varenna, Colico, and other lakeside towns. Please note – if traveling in high season, we advise you to be patient with long waiting lines at the ticket office. Tickets can also be bought online on the Navigazione Laghi website. The nearest airports are Milano Malpensa, Milano Linate, and Orio Al Serio in Bergamo. It is possible to arrange a direct shuttle to and from the airport at an additional cost. TIPS \>We advise you to take a day to visit the marvelous little towns around the lake. Como city is the urban center of the area, but the little towns are gems with glorious lakeside villas. \>To travel and walk around Lake Como, especially in the little towns, comfortable shoes are a must. \>There are many public drinking-water fountains in the area, and the water is safe to drink unless stated otherwise. Tap water is also drinkable. You can carry your own refillable bottle! \>If you are looking for a relatively easy hike in the area and want to enjoy mountain views anyway, Lake Como Greenway is a wonderful, easy-to-follow trail that connects the lakeside towns from Colonno to Griante and doesn\\'t require too much walking uphill. A bus can take you from Como to the starting point in Colonno. \>Look for traditional restaurants where you can try local foods such as Lake Como fish dishes. \>In Italy, many shops (especially the little ones) and services are closed in the middle of the day, so be careful to plan your shopping accordingly. \>Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and the deepest in Italy. Swimming and diving are prohibited in many areas and can be dangerous. For those who wish to dwell in the water, however, there are some options. In Como city, there is an outdoor pool near Villa Olmo, but generally swimming in the lake is prohibited in many areas. There are beaches in other lakeside towns. Lido di Bellagio and pebbly San Giovanni beach will be waiting for those who wish to travel and explore the beautiful town of Bellagio which lies in the middle of the two Larian branches. Locals and visitors also enjoy traveling to Nesso where the bravest swimmers can jump into the lake from the ancient Roman bridge near the waterfall. \>Lake Como is located in a mountainous region. The surrounding pre-Alps might not seem very high, but the climate is nevertheless affected by the nearby mountains, and temperatures can change quickly. Lots of stairs It is a steep five story climb with luggage up narrow stairs through a beautiful old building to reach this roof top deck and apartment. It is small, simple and comfortable. The descriptions of the property are accurate. The rooftop views were amazing and location was perfect to access all that Como offered.The challenges: The bed was a little firm for our liking. They only supplied two bath towels for a two night stay. We had a problem with the washing machine where our closes were stuck in the machine and the repair person wasn't able to get them out until the evening before we left by train for Venice. It wasn't fun traveling with a load of wet clothes.Overall assessment is that we would still recommend this property but can't give an "Excellent" rating due to the challenges mentioned. ##### Christopher B.
