“This apartment is very clean and has a cozy feel; the host was also very responsive and friendly. I cooked in the kitchen and it had all the utensils I needed, and it even had an electric kettle—most places don’t provide for tea drinkers like me! Be aware, though, that the apartment opens almost directly onto a street that large trucks sometimes drive by on, and that there is a back door into a business hallway which only locks with a handle lock (not a deadbolt). “Nice place close to downtown LaCrosse and within walking distance of neighborhood bars. Houghton’s is at the end of the street and has good food. Tom was quick to respond and extremely nice.”

“Great property, great location! Very clean and walkable to most places downtown and to the river and riverboat. By great restaurants and so much going on in LaCrosse. Host very responsive. Obviously you need to climb stairs as it is above a business. Also LaCrosse has a lot of parking rules but very easy and cheap to stay in close ramps. Would definitely visit again and recommend! One more thing, this weekend was the 61st anniversary of the banjo festival and if you like that type of music,……
