The cabin itself was nice and clean, though the bathrom area layout was questionable. Unfortunately, we were not realising that using the firepit would not be possible due to a fire ban. One of the evenings we were attacked by swarms of little beetles. Sitting outside, we had to be creative with using our car's headlights to attract them to……

“It was such a relaxing spot and very handy to bike trail, train to Waikino and town as well as other sightseeing places. The accommodation had everything we needed.”

“This was an excellent place to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host and several dogs! The tiny house was in a paddock with sheep, a horse and chickens but was so peaceful. It was very clean and comfortable and, although compact, it had everything we needed including some breakfast items. We enjoyed listening to the birds and loved it so much that we wished we had been staying longer. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is the place to go.”
