We enjoyed our stay in Sandy Toes condo—although it isn’t new—it had the charm of a well loved beach home and it was very clean, cozy and homey! There were Restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops in walking distance as well as a great swimming pool and beach access! It was also a very convenient drive to Port Aransas for a visit to the Gulf and also to all the entertainment that downtown Corpus Christi has to offer! And thank you for allowing us to your property. The communication was there. And it was cozy. However, the location of which the condo is, was deceptive. I guess it’s partly my fault for not deep diving in research before coming on this trip. Right on the edge of the hood of Corpus Christi. A couple minutes walk from The beach access for the building it’s in, #3, was chained up and broken. So we had to walk an additional 5-7 mins to get to the beach. By the end of our stay that door was also chained up and broken. The condo it’s in is raggedy. Rusty metal everywhere, dirty, walls broken, holes in the ceiling of the entry ways, and no elevators. Roaches on the balconies. The smell of rat infestation in the stairs and walkways, Not even a fire alarm. Very dangerous. With all due respect. To the owner, I would call it quits and find another form of income because this place is a dump and you deserve more. The condo is cute, beach chic and cozy. Always clean and prepped for our stay. The owner is super communicative and never leaves me waiting for a response. They always make sure our stay is comfortable and inviting! Yes, there was remodeling going on in our building but the owner has told us upfront and it did not affect our vacation at all.
