“Had to change rooms which took 2 days to arrange as the first room I would rate as 1* with very outdated amenities and bathroom not fit for use. Changed room was slightly better, but wouldn’t return to this resort.”

“Don’t pay attention to previous reviews. Resort is amazing. The food was good and service was slow but they get the stuff done. We tried carribean and steak restaurants and they both weee good. The bar score open till 2am and food was amaizimg. It’s great for food they have tons of kids activities. The pool and ocean very near by which was a plus. The resort not that big so very convenient. You need to try the coffee shop as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.”

“Food was great. Staff was great. Beach was awesome. Our only complaint was that they’d run out of of things for the entire day such as captain Morgan or Tito’s vodca or Jack Daniel’s. That’s just not exceptable when you’re paying all tbis money and can’t have the drink you like. They ran out of Carmel at Insomnia. Again I have Carmel coffe every morning so that was very disappointing. And the food truck at the pool ran out of ketchup. That again was very frustrating to everyone there. I mean……

“Overall we had a great experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. We stayed in a Gauguin Suite, which felt more like a private villa than a hotel room. Having a secluded backyard and plunge pool was a huge plus and made the stay feel very intimate and relaxing. The beach is absolutely beautiful and easily one of the resort's biggest highlights. “Everything was perfect. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and fun, location and excursions were awesome! Barely any complaints, transportation to and from hotel was easy and transparent, room was clean and comfortable, great view! Only complaint would be the elevator was slow and there was only one but while we were there they were in the process of constructing a second elevator which would have made that problem void. It was so nice having our breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool to the ocean, with pelicans flying by & rays jumping! Our room was very spacious, although there were no windows, so not the ocean view we were expecting.. Several very handy restaurants just over the road meant we did not need to drive in the evenings. ”

Able to walk to the beach just be mindful coming back is uphill. Not many choices of restaurants but they will call a taxi for you. Staff was super friendly, willing to help with and definitely made me feel comfortable and safe. I would stay here again”

“Staff very welcoming especially Melissa at reception and the security/Porter staff. Ocean view room was clean, lovely view. Dinner and breakfast was quite tasty. Unfortunately, experience was hampered by the large number of cats that literally took over the dining area! It made for quite an uncomfortable experience and for someone who is allergic to cats - it was not a pleasant experience.
