“Our room was small but very clean and tidy. The position was excellent for everything we needed. Staff were not that interested in us so not much interaction. I asked about the safe but it was broken and that was that!”

“If you’re looking for a hotel with the best view of Datça, it’s here. We booked the Cati Kismi Deniz Manzarali 1+1 Apart Od. You’re overlooking at the beautiful city with nightlife and beach. My wife and I debated to book here or the Dalya Resort (because they had complimentary breakfast and the view with larger parking spot). One of the reasons we chose Fora is because the hotel is literally at the heart of downtown and walkable to many places to explore. This particular hotel does not offer……

“Hotel Mare is located within just few steps from a public beach, and within a 10 minute walk from Datca center, so its location is great. The facility is clean, and has ample parking available, which is a great plus. However, the rooms are rather basic for the prices they charge. Breakfast is included, which is the standard Turkish “Serpme” (spread - which essentially means buffet style). While their breakfast is heads and shoulders above even the best continental / hot breakfast you will find……

“Shower drain worked so slowly that it wasn't possible to take a shower. In addition, water leaked to the bathroom floor. I informed the reception and was told that they would take care of it. They never did. They have a complicated system of signing on to wifi where you have to enter your name and passport number. No coffee at breakfast (except for Nescafe) even if you're willing to pay for it. Vegetables and cheeses at breakfast look like they've been sitting around. When I asked them they said……

“Sehr freundliches Personal, saubere zimmer in einem top Zustand. Abwechslungsreiches frühstück, für jeden was dabei. Sehr Kinderfreundlich! Wir haben nach einem Bügeleisen gefragt und uns wurde direkt eins gegeben. 5 Minuten Fußweg zum Strand. Wir würden jederzeit wieder ins Egeden Hotel. Empfehlenswert in allen Punkten 👍”
