The room was definitely very basic and the bed was a little hard, but everything was very clean and the view from the motel porch/deck was very peaceful. The best thing about this was having Amelia's restaurant in the same building. There are not a lot of choices for food around, so Amelia's made a hot breakfast easy and we had spaghetti for dinner one night and it was so big my husband and I split it. Joyce was one of the hardest working people I've seen. She would wait on every table in the restaurant, while getting carry out orders and check people in and out at the front desk.
