“After following our GPS to the property which was easy to find even in the dark we pulled into the covered parking area. The door to the room is inside the garage with a passcode and once you get in the room is to your right, the bathroom is directly ahead, and a keypad protected door to the rest of your house is to the right. You are given a key to lock the door to the room, as well as a pair of flashlights if you need them. The room itself has a high table to eat at, shower across from the……

“Great property. Awesome place if you are going to HVNP. Only about a 8 minute car ride. Host was very ggod about communicating with us about check in. Cottage had everything you would need. ”

“Overall beautiful property. However there was no available closet space and the rooms were rather small with our luggage in the way. We do notice juvenile cockroaches within the bathroom and kitchen spaces.”

“Bucket list experience as we were able to witness eruption 45 of Kīlauea. This cabin is in the perfect location to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. If you are a light sleeper, bring some noise cancelling headphones as the coqui frogs make quite a bit of noise at night. ”

“Think of it as luxury camping and you'll be happy. If your idea of comfort is umbrella drinks by the pool, you will not. Personally, I loved it. But it's not for everyone. This is a rustic cabin in the jungle. 4.5 miles off the main road, 2.2 miles of it is dirt (well maintained, regular cars not a problem). 15 minute drive to nearest civilization (the part of the description being in the middle of a historic town is inaccurate - it's 7 miles outside a historic town).
