My husband and I selected this hotel for our honeymoon and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We had such a lovely time. We arrived closer to midnight, as we came straight from our wedding reception. We communicated this in advance and made sure to pay our final balance prior to our arrival. Check in was super easy and the night auditor was very kind. We let the hotel know prior to our arrival that we were celebrating our honeymoon and we found that the hotel decorated our room with rose petals and left us a bottle of Cava! The hotel is in perfect walking distance of many delicious restaurants. We actually never used our car during our stay. If you want to go to Rehoboth Beach, it is just a short Uber ride or trolley ride away. The beach nearest the hotel was so peaceful in the evening and honestly not as packed as you’d expect it to be during the day. I wouldn’t change a thing about our experience and we definitely will be returning guests!

I was looking for a hotel on the beach for my wife and I. Her 50th birthday. Always a little nervous booking a hotel that’s not a ‘Brand Name’ but this was a nice place. Had a little kitchenette area although we didn’t use it. The refrigerator was a nice plus. The bathroom was a little small but worked for us. Had a nice table area with large window with a view of the beach and ocean. Only thin that would have been nice would’ve been a balcony to sit on in the evening. But we had a nice time. It was clean and staff was very responsive. We asked for more bath towels and had them in minuets. The pool looked clean but we didn’t use it. They had a laundry room and a large ice machine which was nice. We would definitely go back here.

Parking was a nightmare, my husband is disabled and we had to park at beach house. I didn’t know we had to request maid service so the next day I requested it for Friday and it wasn’t cleaned. We were told maids left for the day. What were we paying for we wanted an ocean view and it was a side view. Thank god for one of your workers America that came up and changed our bed and took the dirty towels. Thus was too much money for no service. I prefer to stay where we usually do we wanted to try a different place not impressed

Ok. So, if you are a light or late sleeper, it would be tough to recommend this place. We had extremely rude and noisy folks next door who yakked and yakked until 4:30 AM, despite staff trying to get them to quiet down. Thin walls and floors. There is no elevator and it’s 3 stories. They have a dumb waiter for getting luggage upstairs. Fortunately, it was working during our stay. It does have a truly oceanfront location, is a nice size room and is well-appointed. Lovely view from our corner room and good blackout drapes. Parking is sufficient but only half is at the hotel, the rest is half a block away. All spaces are tight if you have a large vehicle.

We loved staying at Surf Club Hotel. The location is PERFECT. Walkable to beach, restaurants, entertainment, etc. I have never stayed at a more quiet hotel-Great sleeping! It’s already a pretty updated looking room but just needs a couple more updates. (Our bathroom fan made an awful grinding noise when turned on so we couldn’t use it.) Front desk was very friendly and helpful!

1 day before it was raining and I couldn't be in the pool! the day I checked out! I still stayed until 3 pm on the beach, they didn't let me use the pool! I rented another hotel where they let me use the pool until I wanted to!!
