White Strand's magnificent blue flag beach is 2.5 km away, ideal for sea swimming or a leisurely stroll. Matthews Traditional Holiday Cottage and Matthews Cottage Doonbeg are conveniently located next to each other, making them ideal for a large family gathering or two families. Matthews Traditional Cottage has its own private entrance and is located next to the owners' home. ## Matthews Traditional Holiday Cottage Description – Sleeps 5 This coastal holiday cottage has a fitted kitchen which is well equipped providing all you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland. This coastal holiday accommodation has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 5 guests: **Property layout – Ground floor:** \-Well equipped fitted kitchen \-Living room and dining room with TV, and solid fuel stove \-Bedroom 1: double sleeping 2 \-Bedroom 2: double sleeping 2 \-Family bathroom with shower, hand basin and WC **Property layout – First floor:** \-Bedroom 3: single sleeping 1 Outside this coastal holiday home, you can relax on garden furniture and enjoy the peaceful countryside. Wifi is available and towels are provided. ## Local Area & Tourist Attractions Doonbeg is a popular holiday destination for golf lovers, families, and surfers alike. Heating and Electricity:** Utilities are an extra charge at this property and payable on departure to the Owner/Property Manager. The rate for electricity at this property is €10 per day all year around and the oil is meter read and based on consumption. Should utility charges not be paid on departure, they will be deducted from the security deposit without further notice. Breakdown of these charges are available from the Owner/Property Manager. **2\. Security Deposit:** A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival by cash. This is a three bedroom cottage which accommodated is just fine. The area is rural, so if you are looking for the convenience of not having to drive, this is not the place for you. If you ARE looking for a relaxing and extraordinary view of the Irish countryside this is a must stay! This property is surrounded by farms on all sides. If you enjoy walking, you will love what this area has to offer. Nature, farm animals and friendly neighbors. A short walk to a local beach and beautiful scenery! Matthew, the owner of the cottages is a delightful man whom we enjoyed many conversations with.
