"We spent a lovely week in this beautiful historic property. From the terrace amazing views surrounded by nature .The magical sound of the scop owl and saw deer grazing in the field. Pool just the right temperature despite the unseasonably cool weather. Boulangerie was walking distance from the property lovely bread and patisserie daily. "A lovely welcome from our property manager and the caretaker was very helpful when we had a medical problem with one of the teenagers. The pool was well looked-after although the sunbeds had seen better days and need new cushions as there weren't any. The property was large and fitted our family of 14 comfortably. A few more fans in the bedrooms needed and velux windows that open for more ventilation. Lots of interesting villages and markets nearby to visit and kayaking and paddleboarding down...

"What a fantastic chateau. Amazing building, beautiful grounds, and a great swimming pool. We had plenty of space for our party of 12 to eat together, but also to get some quiet time when needed. It’s in a great location - about 25 minutes from Sarlat, and less than 10 minutes from the river, with easy access for kayaking and paddle boarding. There are plenty of other places to visit - the hardest part is leaving the chateau!"
