“This was a great stay over all. Great communication and very fast response. Place was exactly how the online photos looked. Only minor thing was the couch had miscellaneous food and trash debris in the cracks. Will definitely recommend.”

“House is clean and roomy for 5 relatives. Very convenient to my home and church where memorial service was held. Alma was so helpful answering questions before they arrived and during their stay — much appreciated. Weather was unusually hot and house isn’t insulated well so it was extremely hot inside till all windows were opened to let in night air. Curb appeal would benefit from pulling weeds, adding new plants, flowers, etc.”

“Getting checkin directions required us to call VRBO to get the host’s phone number. The host never made contact other than the single texted instructions initiated by us (frantically, bc we couldn’t confirm if we had a place to stay for a week over Xmas!). Zero contact or response via VRBO. You can hear every footstep and conversation upstairs. And we know the tenants were trying to be quiet because we met them. Would not recommend. Passenger exit from car is on the mud.”

“Everything about this property was perfect for us! The house is beautiful, clean and well-appointed without being busy. It is located in the best part of Berkeley -- you can walk to everything from a peaceful neighborhood with friendly and helpful neighbors. The owner and property manager were also very helpful and responsive. We didn't want to leave! ”

“Property was dated but clean. Check-in was delayed by 1.5 hrs at request of host, Johnny T, but went smoothly otherwise. Communications with host were good using phone or messaging throughout the 3-week stay.Kitchen facilities were adequate, with a large sturdy table, plenty of implements and china, pots and pans.”

“Xabier was an excellent host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this sweet little bungalow. It was spacious enough for our family of four. We enjoyed the comfortable layout, turf backyard, and the hot tub (though we wish the tub had been as sparkling clean as the rest of the house). The location is excellent: walking distance from playgrounds and the grocery store, and just a 10-15 minute walk from El Cerrito Plaza. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Xabier!”
