Our stay at Vertali was made truly special by the outstanding customer service. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our vacation memorable. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt cared for and appreciated. A very special thank you to Kiki, whose kindness, professionalism, and positive energy stood out every single day. She consistently went above and beyond and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. I’d also like to recognize the incredible breakfast team. Their friendliness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Exceptional service is what transforms a great hotel into an unforgettable experience, and the team at Vertali did exactly that. First of all, let’s start with the real issues. The hotel is overcrowded at the beach, and the marketing for their Junior Suites is close to false advertising. We stayed in a Junior Suite with Sea View and Private Pool (“The Collection”) and had a building and a cactus directly in front of our room. The problem is not just the disappointment itself, but the fact that the promotion for the room does not reflect reality. When we raised the issue with the hotel staff, they showed us two alternative rooms — one smaller and clearly downgraded from the original, and one presented as an upgrade, which was just as poorly located as the room we already had. Yes, the food and overall service are decent — but this is not a five-star hotel when measured against the standard the price and marketing suggest. We stayed two out of six nights, attempted to settle with the manager for a refund, and were rudely declined. We left the hotel and continued our vacation elsewhere.

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage. Wir hatten ein wunderbares Zimmer mit eigenem Pool, was sehr empfehlenswert ist. Zudem verfügt das Hotel über verschiedene weitere Pools und auch empfehlenswert ist das Restaurant plus liegen am Strand circa 300 m vom Hotel entfernt. Das nahe gelegene Fischerdörflein Plaka bietet sehr schöne kleine und familiengeführte Restaurants mehrheitlich mehrheitlich direkt am Meer. Man wird verwöhnt, mit griechischen Spezialitäten, insbesondere frischen Fischen und Meeresfrüchten.
